Tax Reform and Its Impact on Not-For-Profits
Provisions in the new tax reform law will have a significant impact on not-for-profit organizations. From excise taxes to new unrelated business income tax (UBIT) considerations, organizations will need to take a close look at how tax reform changes will affect their tax liabilities and financial planning needs. Join
Craig Klein, Managing Director in the Not-For-Profit and Education Practice at CBIZ & MHM, as he reviews the impact of the tax reform bill and outlines steps for creating an action plan to address the changes.  

Emerging Best Practices with Group Benefit Plans 
Ronald Morrison, Business Unit President at CBIZ Benefits & Insurance, will provide strategies that not-for-profit organizations should consider around group benefit plans, including upcoming changes to the Affordable Care Act. 

Lessons Learned from IT Security Exposures
Join Ray Gandy, Leader of the IT Risk & Security Practice at CBIZ & MHM, as he presents common security risks, lessons learned from delivering IT risk and security assessments to not-for-profit organizations, and insights into how to mitigate these risks.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to -  

  • Familiarize yourself with the not-for-profit provisions in the tax reform bill, and specifically those provisions that will be most impactful

  • Implement best practices regarding group benefit plans
  • Identify key IT security risks in the not-for-profit industry and develop an action plan to mitigate those risks
